သံမဏိအလေးချိန်ကို အလွယ်တကူတွက်ချက်နိုင်စေမည့် ဖော်မြူလာအမျိုးမျိုးနှင့် အွန်လိုင်းဂဏန်းတွက်စက်များရှိပါသည်။

သံမဏိကို အမျိုးအစား ၅ မျိုးခွဲခြားထားပြီး ၎င်းတို့တွင် austenitic stainless steels များဟု လူသိများသော 200 နှင့် 300 စီးရီး သံမဏိများ ပါဝင်သည်။ ထို့နောက် ferritic stainless steels များဖြစ်သော 400 စီးရီးများ ရှိသည်။ 400 စီးရီးနှင့် 500 စီးရီးများကို martensitic stainless steels ဟုခေါ်သည်။ ထို့နောက် precipitation hardening grade stainless steels များဖြစ်သော PH အမျိုးအစား သံမဏိများလည်း ရှိသည်။

နောက်ဆုံးအနေနဲ့ duplex stainless steels လို့ လူသိများတဲ့ ferritic နဲ့ austenitic stainless steels ရောစပ်ထားတဲ့ သံမဏိတွေ ရှိပါတယ်။
