321 stainless steel sheet 1*1220*2440 for UAE

We have shipped 321 stainless steel sheet 1*1220*2440 for our client from UAE

hemical Properties

321 stainless steel is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel (similar to 304 but with added titanium to prevent chromium carbide precipitation). It offers excellent high-temperature resistance and intergranular corrosion resistance.

Typical Chemical Composition (%):

Element Composition

Chromium (Cr) 17.0 – 19.0

Nickel (Ni) 9.0 – 12.0

Carbon (C) ≤0.08

Manganese (Mn) ≤2.0

Silicon (Si) ≤1.0

Phosphorus (P) ≤0.045

Sulfur (S) ≤0.03

Titanium (Ti) ≥5×C (min. 0.4%)

Iron (Fe) Balance

Key Features

✔High-temperature stability (up to 800-900°C)

✔Resists carbide precipitation (sensitization) during welding

✔Good oxidation & corrosion resistance (better than 304 in some environments)

Applications

Due to its heat resistance and weldability, 321 stainless steel is widely used in:

Aerospace & Jet Engine Components (exhaust systems, combustion chambers)

Chemical & Petrochemical Equipment (heat exchangers, pressure vessels)

High-Temperature Pipelines & Boilers (thermal stability)

Automotive Exhaust Systems (manifolds, catalytic converters)

Food Processing & Pharmaceutical Equipment (where welding is required)

Heat Treatment & Furnace Parts (due to oxidation resistance)
